She Can Empower: How Pole Dancing Enhances Strength, Fitness, and Mental Health - A Feature in Marie Claire
Empowering Women Through Pole Fitness: A Transformative Journey
Thanks to ongoing funding from Islington Council, the Cripplegate Foundation's Community Chest Grant, and other generous organisations, we have been able to offer beginner pole dance classes at She Can Empower. Our initiative has already shown remarkable benefits for participants, blending physical fitness with mental and emotional well-being.
One of our participants recently shared her inspiring journey in a feature for Marie Claire magazine. Her story highlights the growing popularity and recognition of pole fitness as a powerful tool for strength, flexibility, and mental resilience.
Her words capture the essence of what we strive to achieve at She Can Empower. "Eager to push my boundaries and try something new, I decided to give the workout a go over the course of six weeks. Spoiler alert: pole fitness for beginners is far from easy, but it taught me an awful lot."
As pole fitness gains recognition as a legitimate sport and powerful form of exercise, we're thrilled to offer these classes that not only challenge physical abilities but also promote mental strength and confidence. The feedback from our community has been overwhelmingly positive, with participants finding joy, support, and empowerment in every session.
We invite you to read her full experience in Marie Claire and discover how pole fitness can transform your life, just as it has for many women in our community.
